Frontier Pitts have developed the Terra Bollard to meet the requirements of our customers at Airports, Embassies, Palaces, Government Institutions and Military Bases around the World.

THE TEST
The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Bollards when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80km/hour).

On impact the Terra Bollard brought the vehicle to a complete halt within the aperture with zero penetration onto site or past the units. After the impact the Terra Bollards remained fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to raise and lower.

PAS 68 Impact Tested Active Terra Bollards

The Terra Active Bollard is a high security hydraulic rising bollards, successfully impact tested as a single unit system and dual unit system to the BSi PAS 68 when impacted with a 7,500kg vehicle travelling at 50mph (80kph). The Terra Bollards remained fully functional after impact.

The Frontier Pitts crash-rated Terra Bollards are available with a height of 900mm

Foundation depth of 1450mm required.

Terra Bollards should be installed with a maximum space of 1200mm between upright faces of the bollard units in accordance with BSi PAS 69
