PAS 68 Impact Tested Terra Mount Blocker

The Terra Mount Blocker is a high security Road Blocker or rising kerb, ideal for sites with restrictions on available foundation depths as it is mounted on the road surface. The Terra Mount Blocker has been successfully crash tested to the BSI PAS 68 standard, when impacted with a 7,500kg vehicle travelling at 50mph (80kph). The Terra Mount Blocker remained fully functional after impact.

THE TEST
The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Blocker when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80km/hour). In accordance with BSi PAS 68 a lorry was used to act as the test vehicle.

On impact the Terra Blocker brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the impacted face of the unit. After the impact the Terra Blocker remains fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to raise and lower.
