1. No Pedestrian Access - A Pedestrian Guard Rail (fence panels) should be fitted around the runback area of the sliding gate. Available at 1m or 2m high. This is to prevent serious injury to a person should they stray into that area whilst the gate is operating. |

Safety edges are flexible strips which are fixed to the edge of a gate where there is a risk of a crushing or shearing hazard.
