Checks stop and limit switch adjustments, check gate hinge pins and bearings, lubricates all vearings and checks all hose connections. A visual check is completed on motor and electrical components. The operation of the bolt is checked (if applicable) and all safety devices checked. A test run of the gate is operation to clarify speed and operation of gate is carried out. Check locks and bolting action, tighten foundation fixings, check and adjust safe edge, check and megger loops. Inspect and, if necessary, change lamps. Inspect and tighten all electrical components. Check and clean all photocells. Check and report any signs of damage. For Hinged Gate operated by an Underground Actuator, the pit area will be cleared and, if necessary, drained.
