• Coin and token operated machines use an internal keypad to set the required "vend" amount

• The machines enable time, date, serial number and company or authority name to be printed on the ticket
• The action of removing the ticket can be made to operate a barrier or gate
• Alternatively the unit can be combined with a coin-operated machine, thus enabling a parking fee to be levied before the ticket is dispensed or the barrier raised
