Sliding Gate Preventative Maintenance wheels and runways are cleaned, the wheels in the bottom box are checked, the bearings and drive trains are inspected and greased, the spocket alignment and gear box oil levels are checked, primary and secondary chain drives are checked and adjusted. Motor, motor brake and torque limiter check and adjusted, all locking nuts and grub screws are checked, the receptor post ramp plate is checked/reset, the locks and bolting actions are checked, the foundation fixings are checked/tighten, safety edge tighten/adjusted, check and megger loops. All lamps are inspected, lamps changed if required, all electrical terminals checked and inspected, and photocells checked and cleaned. Any damage to gate is recorded.

To achieve maximum efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs it is crucial to carry out regular routine services. Under your first year's warranty your equipment must be properly maintained by Frontier Pitts or an approved engineer, otherwise it could affect your warranty terms and conditions.
