7,500kg TRAVELLING AT 50mph (80km/Hour) & CONTINUED TO OPERATE AFTER IMPACT

THE TEST
The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a
Frontier Pitts Terra Surface Mount Blockerwhen impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80km/hour).

On impact the Terra Surface Mount Blocker brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the impacted face of the unit. After the impact the Terra Surface Mount Blocker remains fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to raise and lower. The Terra Surface Mount Blocker surpassed the standards for PAS 68-6 and the Department of State Certification, and continue to operate immediately after the impact, especially without needing repair.
