Foundation depth of 1450mm required.

Terra Bollards should be installed with a maximum space of 1200mm between upright faces of the bollard units in accordance with BSi PAS 69

THE TEST
The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Bollards when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80kph).

On impact the Terra Bollard brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the units.
After the impact the Terra Bollards remained fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to raise and lower.

The Terra Bollard surpassed the BSi PAS 68 and continue to operate immediately after the impact, especially without needing repair.
